If you have obtained your professional qualification out of the EU, you should check with responsible authority whether you can apply for the recognition of your professional qualifications.

If you wish to work as a physiotherapist in Italy on a permanent basis you will have to submit the following documents:

  • Copy of an identity proof
  • Certificate or other certificate released by the competent authorities of the country allowing the exercise of the profession of the applicant
  • Certified copy of diploma
  • Detailed studies program
  • Certificate which shows in detail the professional activities possibly carried out after graduation
  • Certificate stating any periods of practical training carried out, specialization courses, other securities
  • Any delegation
