Changes to staff contracts

As an employer, you must inform your employees in writing of any change to their terms of employment. This must be done as soon as possible and no later than the day the change becomes effective. If the change is due to an amendment in law or administrative provisions, you do not need to make a written modification to the original contract.

If your employees are required to work for more than one month in a different country, including in cases of posting abroad, you must provide them in advance with the following information:

  • duration of their employment abroad
  • currency to be used for payment of their salary
  • allowances they may be eligible for while abroad
  • conditions regarding their return
