The use of seat belts and child restraint systems is MANDATORY (Directive 91/671/EEC as amended). Medical exemptions are possible, e.g. by providing a medical certificate to prove that you cannot use a seat belt. |

![]() | Road users must follow the traffic light signals. Red light and sign for driving right at a red light: you can turn right at a red light if the way is clear. Drivers of emergency response vehicles, escort vehicles and vehicles under escort do not need to comply with the traffic rules and traffic light signals. However, they must drive in such a manner and at such speeds to be in control of their vehicles at all times and not endanger other road users or their property. |
