Across the EU you have specific rights regarding access to and use of the internet and online services. Your basic rights are explained in the Code of EU online rights.
You should always be able to receive affordable basic internet access from at least one internet provider wherever you are in the EU. This is known as the "universal service principle".
There are also specific EU rules on how companies and websites handle your personal data when you use the internet.
