To ensure safe travel, EU countries have agreed on a co-ordinated approach to free movement restrictions in response to the coronavirus pandemic. EU rules now take into account your COVID-19 status as proved by a valid EU Digital COVID Certificate.

Facemasks are not mandatory, but recommended.

Quarantine

Quarantine has been abolished.

Isolation is no longer compulsory when diagnosed with COVID-19. However, it is strongly recommended that people isolate themselves for at least 5 days, or for as long as symptoms are severe, and then follow the rules on special precautions for an additional 2 days.

The 'EU Digital COVID Certificate' (EUDCC) is digital proof, valid in all EU countries, that a person has either been vaccinated against COVID-19, has recovered from COVID-19, or has received a negative test result. National authorities are responsible for issuing the certificate.
