Your online rights

In the EU, you have a basic set of rights regarding access to and use of online networks and services - of which the internet is the most common example. These rights are explained in detail in the Code of EU online rights.

Specific cases where you may want to enforce these rights include:

  • you move and want to have an internet connection in your new house
  • you have a problem when buying something online
  • you have a contract‑related problem with your internet provider or an online service.
