FAQs - Fixed line telephone services

I live in Sweden and want to call a friend in Denmark. Is this call a roaming call, or am I charged for an international call? Open Close

When you call another country from your home country, this is counted as an international call, or an intra-EU call. You're only classed as roaming when you use your mobile phone outside your home country.
In your case, when you call your friend in Denmark, you will be charged for an intra-EU call – which costs a maximum of €0.19 a minute (+VAT). This limit applies to all intra-EU calls you make – both from your landline or your mobile phone in your home country, to a landline or mobile phone in another EU country.
