HandsOn: Biobanks 2015

The title of this year's HOBB is "The EXPOnential relevance of Biobanking, Clinical Biobanks for personalised medicine". The conference, hosted by the University Milano-Bicocca with the support of the European Commission, will centre on the growing relevance of clinical biobanks and their important role in the technological and genetic turn of research, toward a tailored and precision medicine. The HandsOn conference will give participants the opportunity to discuss their views with experts from academy, industry and authorities that regulate research. Participants will be welcomed to share their ideas in Meet the Expert sessions and Legal and Scientific Café as well as in the other sessions in the conference. This event will be an opportunuty for academia, industry, medical doctors, patients groups, policy makers, public representatives and legislators to discuss the future issues for biobanking and to build on international collaborations.
