EU Commissioner Elżbieta Bieńkowska visits the European Union pavilion at Expo Milano

On the occasion of the "European Food and Drink Week" at Expo Milano, on 30 June 2015 we were honoured to welcome EU Commissioner Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, Elżbieta Bieńkowska at our pavilion.

During her visit, Deputy-Commissioner Giancarlo Caratti and Director Matteo Fornara accompanied the Commissioner through the European Union pavilion, starting by presenting the European integration timeline and following through the story of Sylvia and Alex, protagonists of the animated film "The Golden Ear" in our 4D cinema. The visit concluded in our interactive content centre where visitors can receive further information about the European Union’s contribution to feeding the planet.
