Dietary Strategies for Healthy Ageing

On 18 May 2015 we were happy to host at the EU pavilion in Expo Milano 2015 the conference "Dietary Strategies for Healthy Ageing", on the beneficial and harmful dietary factors as well as the specific needs and habits of the elderly population group.

During the conference, organised by the Directorate General Research and Innovation of the European Commission, past and future EU funded research projects contributing to a better understanding of nutritional needs for a better quality of life while ageing were presented.

The workshop was followed by a roundtable discussion inolving stakeholders and policy makers, who had the chance to exchange ideas on dietary strategies and innovation potential.
