Award event "Good farm animal welfare awards"

Animal welfare is an important component ensuring animal health; furthermore animal welfare is closely linked also to food safety, to the higher quality of food produce, sustainable agriculture and the respect of the environment.

The event will show how positive synergies can be created within EU policies and EU stakeholders along the whole supply chain when industry commitments, public campaigns and demand are brought together.
