Thematic week on EU food assistance and humanitarian aid

From 13 to 19 April, EU at Expo 2015 will host on its social media a thematic week on the theme "EU food assistance and humanitarian aid", jointly run with DG ECHO. 

The purpose of this thematic week is to spread knowledge about EU humanitarian food assistance, the extent of it and the ways in which it is being distributed, i.e. via cash and vouchers. Among the main goals of this initiative, we want to raise awareness of the EU's work in the field of food assistance, and in that connection, Europeans' own role and contribution as EU tax payers.
