Conference on "Innovation in Food" 8th-10th October

The conference will be a dialogue with stakeholders and citizens on innovation & technology.

It will present the outcome and conclusions from the regulatory forum on innovation food additives, enzymes, flavourings, novel foods and food contact materials that will take place the days before the conference.

researchers, regulators, the food industry and the citizens will exchange views and the European Commission will explain the main rules on each of these topic. This will help to better understand the concerns, to communicate with the citizens and to consider approaches on how the legislation can better guarantee that future innovations will meet consumer needs.
