EU Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete and Director-General Dominique Ristori visit the European Union pavilion at Expo Milano

On the occasion of the event "Sustainable Solutions for Energy, Climate and Food Security" at Expo Milano, on 26 June 2015 we were honoured to welcome EU Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action Miguel Arias Cañete and Director-General of the Directorate-General for Energy within the European Commission Dominique Ristori at our pavilion.

During their visit, Deputy-Commissioner Giancarlo Caratti and Director Matteo Fornara accompanied the Commissioner and Director General through the European Union pavilion, starting by presenting the European integration timeline and following through the story of Sylvia and Alex, protagonists of the animated film "The Golden Ear" in our 4D cinema. The visit concluded in our interactive content centre where visitors can receive further information about the European Union’s contribution to feeding the planet.
