Starting from tomorrow, 16 January, until the 25 January, we will be following the development of the "International Green Week 2015".

Ten students have been selected to participate to the project "Students 4 Expo S4E", jointly run by ESN Italia and EU at Expo 2015. The students will play the role of “European Expo Ambassadors” for the whole semester preceding Expo Milano 2015.

The EU Commissioner General David Wilkinson and the Deputy Commissioner General Giancarlo Caratti went to Milan at the beginning of January. In this occasion, they visited the Expo site and the EU pavilion yard, accompanied by Mr. Giuseppe Sala, CEO of Expo 2015, Ms. Diana Bracco, President of Expo 2015 S.p.A., and the technical staff.

Our prominent colleague from the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission Frank Pabian, Senior Nuclear Nonproliferation Monitoring and Verification Analyst, has created a very cool Google Earth overlay with the map of Expo 2015 showing the position of the EU pavilion.

On 15 December, our Deputy Commissioner General Giancarlo Caratti presented the EU participarion at Expo 2015 to the members of the European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) in Brussels. Founded in 1958, CEJA represents about 2 million young farmers across the EU and it is currently working on an international young farmer's manifesto that will be launched at Expo 2015.
