Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat visits the European Union pavilion at Expo

On the occasion of the National Day of Malta at Expo Milano, on 16 July 2015 we were honoured to welcome Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at our pavilion.

During her visit, Commissioner General David Wilkinson, Deputy-Commissioner Giancarlo Caratti and Director Matteo Fornara accompanied the Commissioner through the European Union pavilion, starting by presenting the European integration timeline and following through the story of Sylvia and Alex, protagonists of the animated film "The Golden Ear" in our 4D cinema. The visit concluded in our interactive content centre where visitors can receive further information about the European Union’s contribution to feeding the planet. The visit concluded with the Prime Minister signing our Golden Book.
