Join the festivities, with a unique opportunity to enjoy the annual celebration of peace and unity in Europe. On 9 May 2015, enjoy the very first “National Day” at Expo 2015. There will be the “Citizens’ Dialogue” in the auditorium for a traditional event organised by the European Commission, where guests can openly discuss with the protagonists of community policies. The “Citizens’ Dialogue” will focus on food safety and the European Union’s role in promoting a safe and efficient use of natural resources. The President of the European Parliament, Martin Shulz, and the High-Representative/ Vice-President, Frederica Mogherini, will be present to animate the “Citizens’ Dialogue” and engage in a debate with citizens, students and EXPO visitors.
