Calendar of Events

In addition to its pavilion, the European Union will foster a dynamic and in-depth discussion around how to feed the world healthily and sustainably through the organisation of conferences and events dedicated to the theme of Expo Milano 2015. An ambitious calendar of more than 200 events is foreseen to address global food security challenges through scientific, policy, business to business (B2B) and cultural events.

These events will offer something for everyone from young people to high level scientists and policy makers. Our goal for the Expo is to create a lasting legacy that will shape the global debate and contribute to finding solutions to ending world hunger post 2015.

The EU set a series of supportive actions up to strengthen land governance in African countries. It is believed that demarcating title deeds improves land tenure efficiency and harmony in the countries.

The situation with contamination of basic food and dirnks with the most important organic, inorganic and organometallic toxicants. The priority attention is devoted to Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) and to Persistent Toxic Substances (PTS)

The Conference will be an international dialogue on sound strategies on nutrition, and promotion of better nutrition through food information.

Conference and business meetings organized with the EEN on agro-food manufacturing, space applications, creative industry, and food design.
