Anniversary Concert

Within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, a commemorative concert will take place at the Luxembourg Philharmonie. A thousand free tickets will be issued to people born on 25 March in either 1957 or any subsequent year. The birthday celebrants may each invite along a guest of their choice.

The concert by the European Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Ivan Fischer, will take place on 25 March 2007.

It will feature works by Kodály, Satie, Schubert, Sibelius, Rossini and Beethoven.

People born on 25 March in 1957 or any subsequent year may attend this concert for free. High representatives of Luxembourg will also be invited to the concert.

A birthday drink along with a slice of birthday cake – decorated with the common pan European logo “Together since 1957” – will be offered to all guests during the interval.
