A Tree for Europe

On 23 March 2007 in Bucharest and in each county residence, a tree will be planted, symbolically, in a town park in the presence of the respective mayor and prefect.

In total, 50 trees will be planted throughout the country, corresponding to the number of years that have passed since the signing of the Treaty of Rome (1957). 50 anniversary plaques will be mounted on this occasion at the designated locations.
