European places in Marseille
Notre-Dame de la Garde - Marseille

Take a guided tour and discover some of the places representing the relationship between Marseille and Europe.

From the beginning, Marseille has always had a special relationship with the Mediterranean area. Leaning against an amphitheatre of mountains, the city appears to turn its back on Europe. Nevertheless, Marseille has the ambition to be a Euro-Mediterranean capital.

What relationship does Marseille have with Europe? How can people “see” Europe in Marseille?

On Saturday 24 March, from 9am to 1pm, the Representation of the European Commission in Marseille, in partnership with the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations – MuCEM –, invites you to discover places showing the relationships between Marseille and Europe; some linked to the construction of Europe, others that received European funds to create or develop their activities.

Bookings required.
