On Sunday, as part of the festivities, performers will include the rock veteran Joe Cocker, Italian rock singer Gianna Nannini, the Berlin band MIA, Outlandish from Denmark and many more. In between performances, the varied program will inform the visitors of the many different voices, opinions and cultures within the European Union. Aside from the main stage, a multitude of street performers and theatre groups from across Europe will be on hand, to ensure that the public join in the fun and are thoroughly entertained.

During the celebration, visitors will also be able to learn about the EU and its Member States by visiting any number of the 70 information tents set up for the event. These will be presented by the German Federal Government along with the 27 EU Member States and numerous European firms and civil society organisations on the subject of "Europe".
