IATE
Inter-Active Terminology for Europe - the EU's terminology database.
IATE is used by the EU's various institutions to collect, distribute and jointly manage EU-specific terminology. It contains some 1.4 million multilingual entries.
IATE is designed to house all of the EU's terminology resources in one central location on the web, making this information more readily available and standardising its presentation.
IATE combines all the individual term databases previously used by the EU's different translations services (e.g. Eurodicautom, TIS and Euterpe).
It is run jointly by all the main EU institutions (European Commission, Parliament, Council, Court of Justice, Court of Auditors, Economic and Social Committee, Committee of the Regions, European Central Bank, European Investment Bank and the Translation Centre).
