Project description

In a small high school (415 students), the volunteer will propose cultural and intercultural activities for high school students, will drive the actions of students and CVL in terms of international exposure and cross-cultural discovery may animating school life times in a foreign language, proposing discoveries, exhibitions, contacts with organizations that promote mobility, educate students on the European and international mobility, accompany the students in their search for international mobility solutions. It may also be linked to the foreign pupils in the school. On extra-curricular time, language support. Exchange accompaniment (including internships abroad in Germany) for example. The CVL is today a place of exchange and regulation. The volunteer will give a dimension of cultural activities and international openness by pulsing in connection with school life, actions based on its initiatives and those of the students.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

A flat with own bedroom and shared ktchen and bathroom. Internet connection. The volunteer will share the flat with 2 other persons (an EVS volunteer and a linguistic assistant).

Training during the project

National EVS Seminar Also, the volunteering will be coordinated by the FDMJC22, coordinating EVS organisation. This is how, the volunteer will integrate a EVS volunteers network composed by a dozen of volunteers.In this network activities, the EVS volunteers will participated in several training (linguistical, intercultural, activ pedagogical training etc...)

Volunteer profile

To select the volunteer, our only criteria is motivation, regarding two levels : the desire to live an intercultural experience and the will to work with young people, without any prerequisites, nor language, nor experience in this field. We wish that the volunteer will care about young people, be eager to learn better english and french, and that he will be energetic.
