Animation in a childcare centre: SW France

Volunteering projects

project description

The childcare centre "A Petits Pas" is a NGO where staff members and parents are working together.
The activities the volunteer will participate in are related to the two departments of the organisation.
- With the children The volunteer will work with the children, closely with the staff members of the association and he/she will be involved in the various steps of an activity: preparation, implementation and evaluation. The activities that will be implemented will be mainly manual, musical and physical ones, etc. in order to support the children in their development. The volunteer will have the possibility to participate in already existing activities proposed by the team, but he/she will have also the opportunity to propose his/her own activity, depending on his/her skills and interests.
- With the families. This part will more depend on the profile and the motivations of the volunteer. This department of the association gives the possibility to parents to take initiatives.

accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will be hosted in a flat in the city centre of Pau. He/she will receive money for food, local transports but also pocket money.
