Project description

The volunteer will contribute to the organisation through the following tasks and activities: - assist with language learning activities, such as English Language Cafes for children, youth and adults; - assist with art and handicraft activities that are run by our art teacher for diverse target groups, help with decorations and making souvenirs&gifts; - organise a festival "Everyone is learning" in June 2019 together with other volunteers; - marketing: making photos & videos, posters, running a blog and instagram etc - visit partner organisations (schools, youth centers); - participate in & organise information, educational and cultural events for young people; - assist in administration & project work of the organisation Volunteer will be encouraged to integrate into the project their own ideas, experience and creativity. The specific program will be made in cooperation with the volunteer based on his/her competences and interests and VitaTiim's goals.


Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in rented and appropriately furnished flat or a house. They will have a private or shared bedroom and a shared kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. Food allowance will be given to the volunteers monthly. The volunteers will cook by themselves. Narva is not a big city, therefore the volunteers will walk to the placement.


Training during the project

- On-arrival training course and mid-term evaluation meeting organized by Estonian National Agency; - "Check-in" training course upon arrival and EVS common days once in a month organized by coordinating organisation VitaTiim NGO for all volunteers doing their services in Narva, Sillamäe and Kohtla-Järve; - Russian language course.


Volunteer profile

We expect volunteers who love children & young people and have interest to work with them - this is one of the most important criteria, because all volunteers will work and meet with children in one or another way. Moreover, we are looking for friendly, open for communication and exchange of experience, hard-working young people with sense of initiative or wish to develop it. Interest in education and training, non-formal learning, project-based work and creativity will support the volunteer during the project. Knowledge of Russian language will be a benefit.

Additional information

Besides receiving a volunteer in its own organisation, VitaTiim NGO will also be a coordinating organisation for other international volunteers. The volunteers, doing their service in VitaTiim, will be daily working in international & intercultural environment. Translate

    We can support participation of volunteers facing geographical obstacles (living in a small village), cultural differences and economic obstacles.


This opportunity is offered in the frame of an Erasmus+ volunteering project and will be confirmed as soon as funding is approved.
