EUROPEAN VOLUNTARY SERVICE VACANCY IN ESTONIA Kiisupere Kindergarten

Tallinna Kiisupere kindergarten is a municipal kindergarten in Estonia’s capital Tallinn. Its aim is to care for and educate children between the ages of 1.5 and 7. This is based on National Curriculum and executed through daily teaching activities, play, educational trips etc. Children are grouped into classes of similar age. Regular activities involve Art, Language, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education and Environmental teaching activities. Tallinn is a city with population consisting of many different nationalities and Tallinna Kiisupere Kin-dergarten is welcoming children from these different backgrounds. Our aim is to be open to differences and educate ourselves and our children about different cultures, to be more tolerant and open minded.

accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The transportation, accommodation and pocket money will be provided for the volunteer. Volunteer also re-ceives health insurance, free language and culture courses and will be engaged in activities introducing the local culture.

training during the project

The volunteer will have access to pre-departure training, On-arrival training, and mid-term evaluation meeting provided by Sending National Agency and Estonian National Agency
Volunteer will have access to language support and further training related to possible future tasks provided by the hosting and coordinating organisations.

volunteer profile

The profile of the volunteers is not strongly limited and is open for all the people who would like to work with small kids. In that reason, the main requirement is the readiness to work with young kids, starting with the age of 1.5 years. Volunteers must be ready to spend their days amongst kids and help them with everyday activi-ties. The age limit for the volunteer is 18-30 years.
