project description

Foundation Ukraine within the framework of the project "Erasmus +: Youth", "European Volunteer Service" is looking for 3 volunteers to participate in voluntary work for 12 months (june 2017 - may 2018) in the project in Wroclaw (Poland).

CUKR - information and cultural centre for immigrants and local community - is project aiming to support integration of immigrants with local community and also provide help and assistance for immigrants in order to increase their adaptability.

I. Volunteer from Ukraine as cultural assistant within the project.
II. Volunteer, as info point consultant, preferably coming from Slavic countries: Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia and others.
III. Volunteer, as kids and youngsters’ animator, preferably from English speaking countries and/or West European countries.

accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will have a coordinator who will take care of the definition and execution
of tasks.
There will also be determined Mentor person who will assist volunteers in adaptation,
integration and solving domestic problems.
The Foundation provides volunteers with:
- Accommodation in rented apartment and food allowance
- Intensive Polish lessons
- Transport to Poland, local transport
- Pocket money for their own expenses
- Full comprehensive insurance
- Training courses before departure
- Adaptation courses on arrival

Volunteers will take part in obligatory trainings organizing by Polish National Agency, but also in local training provided by Foundation and our partner institutions.
On the beginning volunteers will be trained regarding their area of activities.

From volunteer’s foundation expects:
- Strong motivation for the projects
- Creativity, openness and tolerance
- Responsibility and independence
- Knowledge of English (Polish - extra plus)
- Preparation of ideas in their own mini project / activity
