training during the project

The EVS coordinator is the main reference figure for the volunteer. Especially during the first weeks of volunteering the coordinator stays in close touch with the volunteers in order to facilitate their integration into the organisation. Regular meetings with the coordinator and the staff should prevent any possible misunderstandings.

volunteer profile

We expect an active, comparably independent, creative and adaptable young person able to work in a team. We do not require any previous experience in working with children and youth, however, we do want the volunteer to be interested in such work.
Working with children and youth requires the volunteer to be able to communicate patiently, his/her positive attitude to children and specific social abilities such as open-mindedness, empathy, tolerance and cooperation.
