Youth center Idrija will host a group voluntering projects-15 volunteers from different countries will help renovating Youth center and Youth hostel Idrija. From 5th of April till 22nd of April volunteers will help renovating Youth center and Youth hostel Idrija. Their job will also be to organize activities at the town center square (we call it Pop-up children playground in the town). These activities will be used to promote (international) youth work and active European citizenship. Volunteeres will help on different task such as painting walls, removing old color and cleaning. Together we will re-use different materials and make furniture out of it. The goal of a project is to renovate rooms in the building where youth center and hostel are. We want to make room prettier and more youth-friendly.
TranslateAccommodation, food and transport arrangements
Participants will be hosted in Youth hostel Idrija, one meal per day will be provided by hosting org. Participants will receive pocket money, money for food and travel costs.

We are looking for volunteers who are: active, open-minded, creative, innovative, responsible, pro-active and social persons who enjoys working and have motivation to renovate and basic knowledge of project management and basic level of English (being able to make herself/himself understood by the others – able to communicate).
