Advocating for the rights of LGBT people in Moldova
The GENDERDOC-M Information Centre is the onlyNGO actively advocating for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people (LGBT) in Moldova.Currently, GENDERDOC-M manages four programmes:
Organisational Capacity Building Programme, LGBT Rights Lobby and Advocacy Programme, LGBT Community Development Programme, and LGBT Health Programme, as well as a volunteers’ movement. Volunteers tasks: providing assistance in organising and carrying out activities for the LGBT community in and outside the office, editing/proofreading texts in English, providing assistance in maintaining and coordinating the LGBT youth website egali.md providing assistance in organising and carrying out of the two biggest events (Moldova Pride and Coming Out Days), as well as participation in other volunteer-run activities organised by the local LGBT volunteers.

We would like to host a volunteer who possess basic skills in the areas of computer literacy, photo and video shooting, or video editing, or graphic design and/or organising art and cultural activities.
We would expect the volunteer to be sociable, friendly, responsible, and have no homophobia and transphobia. GENDERDOC-M adheres to and promotes the principles of non-discrimination and acceptance. That’s why the recruitment process will be solely based on the quality of received applications. We highly encourage LGBT individuals to apply to become a volunteer with our organisation.
