NGO “INTERRA” was established in 2004 by five founders experienced in a field of youth work. The aim of NGO “INTERRA” is to increase civic participation of young people for the community development. We promote and value veriety, tolarance, solidarity, equality, human rights and active citizenhip. We believe that culture and education are keys for society development, at the same time intercultural cooperation makes us broad-minded and open to the new. That is why we are working at the crossroads of education, culture and international relations. For more than 10 years we implement organise seminars, forums, workshops, camps, group and individual exchange projects, educational and cultural programs for different target groups. - We have steady partners in different countries of the EU.- Members of our organization take part in Training Courses within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme. - Since 2010 we have implementedsome international exchanges as an official executor for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Administration.- We implement a long-term interregional project “From Idea to Action” supported by Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg (Berlin). It’s main goal is to give participants an opportunity to develop a social project from the beginning to the end. More specifically this means that participating teams make a project that is important/relevant for them and they are responsible to run it through different stages of its development. We are interested in this program as it develops civic initiatives in the territory of Siberia. Since 2016 the target group of this programme has changed: from young people from 18-30 years old to high school students up to 18 years old. It was made in terms of betters effects bigger number of participants and establishing closer contacts between schools and NGOs. - Since 2016 we start implementation of a long-term Russian-Ukrainian program on critical thinking development "A habit to think"- Since 2016 we have launched a long-term program on sustainable urban development "Formula of the city". The project includes activation of project teams that iniciates sustainable city development and crossectoral collaboration (business, government, NGOs, professioanls and civil activists). - "INTERRA" also sends people for work camps. This way we are promoting voluntary work and voluntary opportunities- “INTERRA” cooperates with ethnic diasporas of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, when we organize camps, trainings, etc.- Via its active members, the organization established contacts with a great number of regional NGOs (ecological, educational, human rights etc.), local institutions (youth clubs, schools ,universities, museums, State Universal Scientific Library of the Krasnoyarsk region), and local authorities. The main target group of the organization are young men and women aged between 14 and 30 (university students, creative youth, and young people from the rural communities of Krasnoyarsk region) with different educational, social, family and professional backgrounds.
