Amesci is a social promotion association, national based, which has as its fundamental mission the development of human capital through empowerment of young generations. The association carries out throughout Italy and abroad training activities, planning and networking that support young people in the development of knowledge, skills and wider skills, in order to create a generation of citizens who are able to combine, in their actions, professionalism and social responsibility.
Our primary areas of intervention are the promotion of culture, the civil service, non-formal education, the territorial mediation and networking between institutions and local communities, integration policies, civil protection, developing social entrepreneurship and responsibility social enterprises, the international mobility of young people, lifelong learning.
Among the most significant lines of action should be mentioned the Civil Service projects by Amesci that affected, from 2002 to 2015, more than 17500 youth on over 3100 of implementation locations in all regions of Italy and in 16 foreign countries. Internationally, Amesci has participated in the conception and management of numerous projects of youth exchanges, cross-cultural training seminars and structured dialogue activities funded by the European Union (Program "Youth," Euromed "," Youth in Action "and" Erasmus + ") in order to increase youth leadership and provide valuable tools to facilitate the transition to adult life and their active participation in local life in a perspective more and more European and inclusive.
