Associação Spin para o Intercâmbio, Formação e Cooperação entre os Povos

(Associação Spin)

description of organisation

Since its foundation in 2008, Spin Association is strongly committed to promoting and encouraging young people's participation in voluntary activities. We truly believe in a solid European cooperation through the spreading of the volunteering spirit and mutual understanding among youth, promoting cooperation and active participation among all citizens.
Our organization is determined to empower young people and especially those pertaining to marginalized social groups, with fewer opportunities or facing any form of social or economic exclusion, in order to widen their horizons, develop their personal and professional growth and expand their European awareness and active citizenship. These youngsters are our prime target group and we aim at contributing to their social fulfillment, inclusion and awakening towards the European society.
The Spin Association promotes and implements European projects, having implemented several projects within Youth in Action Programme and more recently within Erasmus+ Programme, namely youth exchanges, training courses, international seminars and European voluntary opportunities, along with national and international workcamps.
It is our goal to continue innovating and increasing the high quality of our EVS projects, making sure the EVS Quality Charter is fulfilled in every project we participate, being it as the applicant or as a partner organization.
