Genclik Turizmi Dernegi

kuruluşun tanımı

GENCLIK TURIZMI DERNEGI - GENCTUR (Youth Tourism Association) aims to diminish prejudices among the young people through its activities. We believe that living together brings people closer and help them to change their prejudices about the others. An open mind is a key element of intercultural learning and understanding.
In order to reach these aims, GENCTUR organizes short & long term voluntary projects, youth exchanges, seminars and trainings.
GENCTUR's activities are open to everyone regardless the race, religion, nationality, gender and age. But young people with limited opportunities have a priority. Although we mainly work for & with young people there is no upper age limit (except for some spesific cases) to join in our activities. GENCLIK TURIZMI DERNEGI - GENCTUR is a voluntary association. Most of our projects have no upper age limit but for the EVS we work with 18-30 age group. GENCTUR's activities aim to create international and intercultural understanding, world peace, respect to the others. Although there is no upper age limit our main target and most of the participants are young peole.
GENCTUR's main activities are International Voluntary Workcamps (manual, cultural, environmental, agricultural, artistic & linguistic projects) Youth Exchanges and Seminars, volunteer and group leader trainings, foreign language clubs, which aim to bring young volunteers or participants from different backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. These activities create an atmosphere for the young people to get to know each other by volunteering, to have close and personal contact with each other and learn from each other.
