City of Šibenik is local authority body responsible for the planning and implementation of activities related to urbanization, economic and entrepreneurial development, utilities, social welfare, childcare, education, traffic, civil protection, etc. The main strategic objective of the City of Šibenik is to establish favorable conditions for living and working in the local community and to provide balanced and sustainable social and economic development for its population. Bearing in mind the importance of tourism for social and economic development, the City of Šibenik pays special attention to the preparation and implementation of actions aimed at the improvement of the tourism sector on its territory. City of Šibenik have 100 employees and we have managerial and technical capacity to participate and implement any kind of project. At its disposal City of Šibenik have sufficient human and spatial capacity. During years we gained experience in numerous EU co-funded projects.
The city administration is the first instance of citizens in solving their problems. In each segment city administration must be available and solve their individual as well as common problems. All this can be achieved with three basic postulates to be implemented and in what should employees believe. These are: expertise, openness and solidarity.
They all have presumption for quality work. Expertise - recruitment of qualified staff, eager to work for the benefit of all, with special emphasis on young people who will give a freshness in communication with citizens. Openness - work without fences and prejudices. Work what proves that we are ready to accept all the good and positive and to apply that. Solidarity, a special feeling for the work that is done, a willingness to make available and engage for the benefit for the individual and the City.
