FREE SIGHT ASSOCIATION is an independent, non-profit and a non-governmental Association was established in the 26th of December 2011 (after the revolution), aiming to: Human Rights defensing, spreading the culture of dialogue and peace and deepening the spirit of citizenship, participate actively in the success of the democratic transition process while following the path of transitional justice. Also, FSA aims for cooperation with foreign and Tunisian institutions of civil society with mutual interest. And most importantly, using artistic and cultural tools to spread Human rights notions. To achieve these objectives, FREE SIGHT ASSOCIATION organizes several activities, including training, interactive forums, seminars, conferences, and researches, as well as workshops on capacity-building and developing the skills needed in fighting discriminations, empowering women, youth and marginalized groups. In addition, FSA contribute to conflict resolution and to achieving civil peace through participation to succeed the electoral process as one of the goals. An other field in which the association has been focused on during the last four years is the Prevention of Violent Extremism(PVE), in which FSA did two years of field work in the framework of a project "Tunisian Leaders for Human Security" while taking mentorship as a method. Also, it is currently implementing a three-years project on the same topic but on a different method: Research ("Push & Pull factions of Violent Extremism in Tunisia")/Action.
FREE SIGHT ASSOCIATION is also interested in cultural exchanges to share experiences and good practices with other bodies and organizations, this made it participate in different exchange programs and organizing two in Tunisia.
