description of organisation

United Vision is a non-profit organization founded in 2011 based in Prague, the Czech Republic focusing
on rural development, education, nature conservation and volunteering in the Czech Republic and
abroad. United Vision is also a founding member of the CCBC coalition, an association of non-governmental organizations that work together to protect biodiversity and educate the local population on environmental topics in various parts of the world.

Our organization focuses on youth mobility in the field of environmental and language education and
also promotes national and international volunteering activities. Our aim is to promote sustainable
development and international cooperation through education. We focus on environmental themes,
language teaching, ecological awareness, intercultural education and solidarity between people from
all around the world.

We mainly work with young people from local communities both in the Czech Republic and within EU
countries and our partner organizations outside the EU. We aim to promote cooperation and ecological awareness through education in the projects we participate with our partners. Through our activities, we want to prevent climate change in our country and the whole planet faces through
sustainable use of our resources. That is why we organize workshops and volunteering activities in
cooperation with our partner organizations.

All members of United Vision have their own unique long-term volunteering experience and want to
help other people to experience the power of being a volunteer. Our main goal is to spend time with
people we like preparing activities that make sense for the community and the general public.

Our organization focuses mainly on long-term volunteer projects from 3 months up to one year. These are aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years. Particularly, we focus on training and preparation of volunteers for their program in hosting organizations in foreign countries as well as in the Czech Republic. We provide complete training for the volunteers i.e. from the project and also from the pedagogical perspective. We have more than eight years’ experience in this training.

We operate at international as well as at the national level. Apart from sending volunteers to foreign countries we also help to place them to partner hosting organizations in the Czech Republic.
