Be International, civic association, was established in 2009. Be International dreams of the world where young people enjoy learning and are engaged in civic activities; they develop themselves through non-formal education methods, during travelling abroad, while discovering new cultures and practicing volunteering. Be International fulfill its vision through regular activities at both international and local level. Be International is focused on young people who are based in Brno. Most of the participants of Erasmus+ projects and volunteers are university students from Brno who play the role of youth leaders in their communities and work with other young people. If it were not for Erasmus+ program, they wouldnt have financies to attend international educational activities and couldn't become members of global activists community. Furthermore we work with Syrian community in Brno. Additionally we aim at youth workers from South Caucasus, especially those who live in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan and need to develop their comptences. At local level we organize public discussions, screenings and get involved in direct actions such as non-violent demonstrations. Be International is part of Antifobia network, open circle of hate-free organizations in Brno which published leaflets that falsify hoaxes about migration. Regurarly we are going to organize public screenings and participative discusssions called "Čeření". Since 2014 several cultural events have been organized, reaching the aim of interconnected Czech and Syrian community in Brno. By strengthening relations with international partners, mainly through participation in Erasmus+ Youth in Action program, Be International emphasizes the quality of youth work which shall be impact-oriented and based on need analysis of target group. Be Internationcal carries long experience in preparation and implementation of international educational activities within Youth in Action and Erasmus+ program. We work with partners from all over Europe; mainly Balkan countries, Eastern European countries and Caucasus. The main topics addressed by the educational activities are active citizenship, quality of education and no-hate-speech. In 2014 we sent our first volunteers of European Voluntary Service to long term EVS in Georgia. Since that time we have been enriching our cooperation with partner organizations and sending approximately five EVS volunteers per year.
