description of organisation

The 19th Kindergarten of Kielce has been operating since the year of 1989. We are a public kindergarten currently working with 200 children from 3 to 6 years of age. Among them are healthy ones and another with disabilities which these days are: autism and physical or intellectual impairment. We try to integrate these two groups together. Our aim is to provide care, education, healthy and safe growth for all of our preschoolers. The target group are obviously children, but we can divide them according to their needs. Healthy children find out their social role getting more responsible, developing sensitivity, openness and tolerance. Disable children grow in diverse environment what gives them sense of affiliation with a normal society. They are more open and better prepared for everyday life and further education. However, we try to equalize chances of both this groups according to their possibilities.
Apart from regular activities we also organize extra ones, e.g. eurhythmics, gymnastic, art, religion and English classes. In case of special education we undertake individual meetings.
Furthermore, our building suits both, children and workers needs. Our kindergarten is situated in a safe zone, surrounded by a garden with many sport facilities. We own professionally equipped rooms well-adjusted for a character of our activity. We have special classroom for a sensational therapy and office for a speach therapist. Our working tools were obtained owing to EU sources.
All of this things make us an adequate place for developing childrens skills and dreams which provide them better start to school and whole life.
Our kindergarten is well known in the city for it's openness for cooperation with NGOs. EVS would be a next step in our developement.
