By 13-20 September 2014, through the "U-Happy Teens" project, Sorgun hosted 30 participants, with different ethnic, cultural or religious background, from 9 different countries. During this period we had the possibility to treat one of the most sensitive topics such as "Youth Unemployment:"
"U-Happy Teens" project, on one hand gave us the opportunity to get more familiar with the Turkish education system and decision making processes, where we had the possibility to visit many Universities, vocational centers, NGOs and Municipalities. On the other hand, through the workshops we had the possibility to gather professional information, share new project Ideas which will allow us to create future cooperation with the participants.
I will never forget Sorgun, not only because of the hospitality we had, but also because of the great people I met there. We shared ideas, experiences; we talked about our future plans, and felt the beauty of the diversity. It was my first time in Sorgun and it will remain the place where we created new happy "Family".
Therefore, I would like to express my greatest appreciation for the coordinating team of this project. Their contribution and support during entire period of project implementation was irreplaceable.
