LETS BE VOLUNTEER

Activity description

The project is about volunteering and active participation. Let's Be Volunteer has the theme of understanding and disseminating the importance of volunteering and active participation in the process of overcoming social problems. The project is going to include the following activities; Both ESC and Individual Voluntering program, language courses, Soho partnership network building, social projects and activities design with non- formal education methods ,workshops on universal issues, activities to increase volunteerism and participation in social life, cultural activities, youth information days, project dissemination and sustainability. Young people and volunteering work are the main focus of our project. Thus, we aim to increase the knowledge and skills of young generations on universal issues and to take responsibility for volunteer activities. We will provide for volunteers: food, drink, accommodation, travel expenses and pocket money support completely free of charge.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation; The volunteer will stay at our flat which has 3 rooms + 1 living/resting room. Flat is located center of the ANKARA and 7-8 minutes by walking to office. Pocket Money; will be paid 120€ as cash in EURO, per month. Food Money; will be paid 70€ as cash in EURO, per month. Travel Cost: will be paid according to distance canculator Insurance: The volunteeers will get incurance certificate by Cigna Company Visa and Residence permit expenses will be paid by project budget. Your sending organization will assist you in this regard.

Training during the activity

Participants will volunteer for 2 months. LANGUAGE SUPPORT: The volunteer will receive OLS language support, if the activity periods exceed 60 days. İf the hosting organization has opportunity, can provide language support to volunteer. TRAINING AND SUPPORT: Hosting organization will be organized training and support for each of their activities if the volunteers feel need for it. VISA: The volunteer’s visa expenses will be reimbursed by reciving organization if the volunteer provides the original invoice. MENTOR: For personal support, the volunteer will have a mentor.

Being interested in the topic of the project, being interested in different cultures, being creative, active, open-minded, and available with teamwork, being voluntarily workable, being ready to take responsibilities.Being open to education and innovations, being able to represent his/her own country and sending organisation in the best way,being able to speak English at least to express himself or herself, being solution oriented and tolerant, working planned, to accepts all rules of Erasmus+ programs, being disadvantaged (social,cultural, economic,geographical)Being at the ages between 18-30
