Stiftelsen Fryshuset

Nybro, Sweden

The application deadline has passed.

Activity description

Youth cafe project within Fryshuset Nybro. Together with the staff, you will run a cafe for young people from 13-25 y.o. You will take part in planning and executing activities, games, happenings, and inspirational events. A café is a place that we see has the potential to develop and wants to do this with young people who are passionate about seeing opportunities. We work a lot with young people's relocation and see what is one of the most important parts of our work. The transfer can be that young people are given the opportunity to develop in their passion but also through support with CV writing, job opportunities, or education. Our cafés are used today as the first opportunity for jobs for young people under 25 years of age. The volunteer follows our annual plan, where holiday activities and regular activities look a little different. During the holidays, we open up the possibility for other activities, many of which take place outdoors.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

All costs are covered by the European Solidarity Corps program. Accommodation will be found by Fryshuset. Food and pocket money we will transfer to volunteers` bank accounts monthly.
