TO APPLY, FOLLOW THE LINK : https://compagnonsbatisseurs.world/activities/long-term/esc-volunteering/syndicat-initiatives/ «Syndicat d’initiatives" is an organization of local interest, which aims are to promote and vitalise the territory. Their reach to the public is done through three areas: events organisation, info point and creating attractions in the town of Rochefort. The volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in various activities of the organization: administrative, cultural, logistic. The first weeks will consist of showing the volunteer all the tasks that the organization is working on, so gradually they can participate more and more in all of them. A variety of tasks will allow the volunteers to find something that suits their interests and pursue it. The aim is to help the association in their daily tasks (at the ticket stands, in the tourism centre and the attractions), and help with event organisation, management of volunteers and outdoor maintenance tasks.

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

The volunteer will live in Marche en Famenne, a town not far from Rochefort in a house shared with other international volunteers. S/he will have their own room and will share the rest of the house. The volunteer will receive a budget and will take care of the meals on their own. In addition, they will receive a small allowance (pocket money) for personal expenses throughout the duration of the activity, including holidays. The transportation from the accommodation to the project will be covered.

Formazione durante l'attività

On arrival and mid term seminar; opportunity to take part in the training for camp leaders of the support organisation. Other trainings proposed to the SI team might be also proposed to the volunteer.
