Maison Pour Tous Léo Lagrange is an organisation which provides non-formal education in an urban area. There are 25 workers, the organisation has different fields : -Youth activities : Welcoming youngsters in the Youth Club after school, during holidays, follow different groups for European youth exchanges emotional life and sexual health project. -Inclusion with young adults -Environment and sustainable development Missions of the volunteer will be to : Welcomi youngsters in the several hosting places : create and animate activities, support youth workers in sports activities •Support youth workers in youth projects •Participate in events with local partners •Promote EU citizenship and awarness to the world •Take part in youth exchanges implemantation •Use non-formal education for sessions on international mobility (schools, Youth clubs) •Create connexion between European volunteers in Normandy Apply with this form : https://forms.gle/B7TPTvvxFR6ppkc6A

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will live in a shared flat with the second volunteer not far away from the organisation. The furnished apartment will allow to be autonomous and to welcome friends. You will have public transport access thanks to a pass available for all your volunteering. The flat will be approximately 15 minutes by bus from the organisation.At the beginning of each month, you will receive money for the groceries and pocket money

Training during the activity

- Arrival, mid-term and closure seminars provided by French national agency - French Lessons : learn the French language by OLS courses (2-4 hours / week recommended) and take part in french lessons provided by our french teacher with a group - Participation in trainings with and for the youth workers team

Participant profile

You will need to be : - DYNAMIC because in daily contact with teenagers so you will have to propose activities (linked with international mobility OR NOT) and spend with them in the youth club - CURIOUS to discover new things, new people and talk with the teenagers - CREATIVE to propose activities (always supported by youth worker) - SOCIABLE to work in a team and with partners organisations - SENSITIVE to environment, nature and sustainable development A minimum level in French language would facilitate work and communication
