Activity description*PLEASE apply by writing an E-Mail to email@example.com, with your CV and Motivation Letter!* The volunteer will get an insight into Catholic youth work in Vorarlberg and more general in Austria. She*he will gather skills of planning, running and evaluating projects. The volunteer will develop many creative skills as preparing creative activities and workshops are major parts of the project. •Events: The main part of the volunteer's tasks is to help (background work in the office) with the preparation and organisation of the various activities organised by the Katholische Jugend und Jungschar Vorarlberg for the whole region: creative events for children and young people, trainings for young people in various fields, summer camps in Vorarlberg and abroad. •Projects: The second field of activities is the assistance with projects that we do along the year: camps, weekend-workshops for apprentices, music events, artistic workshops (painting, music), youth exchanges, etc.
Konaklama, yemek ve yol ayarlamalarıAs a volunteer, you will live in a student housing where also other volunteers and people live. It is organised by the host organisation. You will have a room with bathroom on your own and share a kitchen with the other residents. You will receive your food- and pocket money always in the beginning of the month. The infrastructure with trains and buses is easy, quick and frequent. Also you will have a bicycle at your disposal and you will receive a ticket for free use of any public transport in the whole region of Vorarlberg during the complete project time.
Training during the activityThe volunteer will have following trainings and opportunities; - On-arrival Training; organised by the NA Austria - Midterm-Meeting; organised by the NA Austria - German course; organised by the supporting/coordinating organisation - Regular evaluation meetings together with the supporting/coordinating organisation - Regular meetings with your mentor in the hosting organisation
Participant profileThe volunteers should be open for the goals and believes of the Catholic Church but does not have to be a member of the Church. They should like to work with children and young people and should be creative and motivated to be with us. Basic knowledge of German would be an advantage but is not necessary for the work in our office. They should be reliable. It would make things easier if the volunteers had a driving licence but it is also not necessary.
