Activity description

With this volunteering project, we intend to contribute to a sustainable dialogue between the societies in Germany and Russia through intercultural exchange and international cooperation. In particular, we are aiming at strengthening and supporting the commitment of young people from the remote regions of Russia to democracy, solidarity and civic engagement. We hope to provide volunteers with a fulfilling environment to acquire essential competences and skills through informal and non-formal learning that can contribute to their social and professional development. The daily routine will cover mostly fulfilling administrative tasks such as communication via email, supporting the DRA staff in event and participants management, helping with the project documentation, translations and online research, participating in staff meetings . The volunteers are encouraged to come up with their own initiatives which would promote contribute to fulfilling the objectives of DRA projects.

Participant profile

We are looking for a young person with the following profile: - 18-30 years old. - Commitment to the principles and values of volunteering - Previous civic engagement is a benefit - Motivation to support NGO-activities - Willingness to engage in various projects and thematic fields - Willingness to fulfil administrative tasks - Curiosity and proactiveness - German language skills would be a benefit
