Activity description
Created in 1993, the Centre Social Eclaté is an association which aims to share values of solidarity and improve the living together in Saint-Martin-Boulogne. It manages three community centers (Centre, Marlborough and Ostrohove), a childcare service and a Childminder network. CSE is one of the main key player of our city regarding the topic of social intervention on a non-institutional approach. Our premises are located in the heart of neighborhoods and are living and listening places. We offer information, guidance, entertainment, activities and services (childcare, leisure centers, educational support, sports activitities, etc.) to improve daily life of all families and individuals from toddlers to elderly. The volunteer's mission will consist in : - Presenting his/her culture to our members, - Promoting volunteering and European citizenship - Promoting European mobility and ESC in our structure – Developping activities/projects regarding the her/his hobbies.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will share a two-bedroom apartment with our other volunteer. It is located in the town center of Saint-Martin-Boulogne near shops and public transports. The volunteer will receive an allowance of 400€ for food, and pocket money. The CSE will provide a bus card (for transport in the Communauté d'Agglomération du Boulonnais) and a pass to the local library. She/He will also have access to all the services of CSE (sports, cultural events, etc.)Training during the activity
The volunteer will have to assist to the two training sessions organised by the French National Agency. She/He will also be able to participate to trainings organized by the Centre Social Eclaté. The volunteer will have access to the OLS platform and will have courses with a volunteer to help her/him to learn French. We have such a diversity of jobs (project management, communication, activities), themes (Childcare, educational support, leisure centers, environment, education to citizenship, intergenerational activities, ...) and of publics (children, teenagers, families, adults and elderly) that it will be possible to tailor the mission considering your hobbies. We expect the volunteer to be eager to learn, flexible, have the ability to innovate and propose ideas and solutions. The volunteer must have a A2/B1 level in French.Activity dates
