Ljubljana, Slovenia

The application deadline has passed.

Activity description

Zavod Bob is searching for volunteer who is interested to collaborate in street-based youth work. It is an important Zavod Bob’s approach for reaching vulnerable young people (those who aren’t involved in services, dropouts, NEETs, immigrants….)by building a trusting relationship based on respect for autonomy and supporting their active involvement in social processes. It takes place outside, in young people's environment - streets and neighbourhoods and connects various local stakeholders (schools, organizations, police,...). Some of the project are more community based (www.zavod-bob.si/about-clovekinje/) while others address the topic of youth hanging out in public spaces of their preference ( www.facebook.com/MrezaMladaUlica/). If the project is accepted the mobility will start in September or December (according to agreement) 2020.*Please check our other volunteering opportunities (Youth Center ULCA, Youth center Zavod Bob): combination of them is possible or even advantageous
