Project descriptionCircus studio Folie is one the first circus schools in Estonia that initiated new circus workshops. Folie is offering aerial acrobatics, juggling, clowning and acrobatics workshops to youth in the age of 7 – 18. Volunteer will work with kids, play games with them and help them during classes. Work takes place in different places and there is a lot of work to do but sometimes you have to notice it and pick it up yourself. You can improve your communication skills, be a assistant trainer and help out in event management. We wish that the volunteer would join our team from 1.10.20 until 1.07.21.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangementsVolunteers will share a room and live in a dormitory style setting. Volunteers can change the accommodation once they are in Tallinn but there is a fixed budget for a rent. Food (160€ a month) and local transport will be covered by the ESC programme.
Training during the projectVolunteers will get trained in various circus techniques. In addition, Estonian Erasmus+ national agency organises on arrival and mid term meeting.
Volunteer profileAny kind of previous contact with various circus skill – juggling, monocycle, stage decoration, acrobatics – or experience in performing arts is an asset. Someone who is proactive, with open communication, takes initiative. Basic English skills are needed.
